Q1 Is there a registration fee?
No. Basic registration is free for all linguists and vendors.
Q2 Can I register multiple roles (translator, reviewer, LQA, interpreter, SME, DTP, multimedia, vendor) with one account?
Yes. One account supports multiple role profiles, so you can manage all services in a single profile.
Q3 Can translation companies (vendors/LSPs) register?
Yes. We provide a dedicated registration path for vendors and LSPs.
Q4 Do profiles have to be in English?
English is recommended for global visibility, but Korean is also accepted.
Q5 What information is required to appear in resource search?
You must complete the Price section with your language pairs and rates. Without this, project managers cannot find your profile in the portal's resource search.
Q6 Is uploading a CV mandatory?
Yes. Without a CV, your profile will not be considered for review or project invitations.
Q7 How do project invitations arrive?
Invitations are sent via portal notifications and email. You may also opt in to SMS or messenger alerts.
Q8 Do I need to complete a translation test?
Currently, we do not require separate translation tests for registration.
Q9 How are rates proposed and negotiated?
When applicable, a rate negotiation email is sent separately.
Q10 How are payments processed?
Payments are issued on the 10th of the following month via the bank details saved in your Account menu.
Q11 Can I generate invoices directly in RIMS?
Not yet. Invoice generation will be supported soon.
Q12 Do I need a Google email account?
Yes. We use Google Chat to communicate to our users. You can change to your custom email to receive notifications, but to access RIMS you will need a Gmail account.
