Article 1 (Purpose)

  2. “User” means an individual or legal entity that uses the RIMS Service. Users can access the Service to provide the necessary information and utilize the features.
  3. “Member” means a person who has completed registration to use the Service and continues to receive service information provided by the Company and uses the Service.
  4. “Service Use Agreement” means the agreement entered into between the Company and you to use the Service, which includes these Terms and any policies set forth separately by the Company.
  5. “Information” means everything you register with the RIMS Service, including personal and business-related information and your use of the Service.
  6. “Password” means a unique combination of letters, numbers and special characters set by the Member to protect his/her account.

Article 3 (Effectiveness and Modification of Terms)

  1. These Terms stipulate the rights, obligations and responsibilities between the Company and the User in relation to the Services provided by the Company, and all Users begin using the Services by agreeing to these Terms. The effectiveness of these Terms shall be effective from the time you start using the Service, and you must read and understand them carefully.
  2. The Company reserves the right to change these Terms if necessary, and will provide prior notice of such changes on the Company's website or through a notice within the Service. If you do not agree to the changed Terms, you may stop using the Service and withdraw from the Service. If you do not object to the changed Terms, you are deemed to have agreed to them.

Article 4 (Provision of Services)

  2. The Company maintains and manages the systems necessary to provide the Service, and endeavors to continuously improve the quality of the Service. However, it may be difficult for the Company to immediately correct any errors or problems that may occur during the use of the Service. The Company shall not be liable for any damages arising therefrom.
  3. The Company may add various functions for the convenience of users. In the event of technical problems or service interruptions related to these, the Company will do its best to resolve them promptly.
  4. The Service provides a platform for users to register and manage their information, thereby creating an environment where users who want to provide translation services and users who need them can be connected. In this process, the Company may introduce various verification procedures to ensure the reliability of the information.
  5. In order to continuously improve the Service, the Company collects opinions from users and updates the features of the Service on a regular or irregular basis. In this process, the Company may suspend or restrict the use of the Service without prior notice or notification.

Article 5 (User's Obligations)

Article 11 (Dispute Resolution)

If a dispute arises between the Company and the User regarding the use of the Service, the Company shall endeavor to resolve the issue through mutual consultation for a prompt and amicable resolution. However, the Company shall not be liable for any delays or results arising from the consultation process.

In the event of a legal dispute between the Company and the User that cannot be resolved through consultation, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's headquarters shall be the exclusive court of jurisdiction and the laws of the Republic of Korea shall govern the dispute. By agreeing to these Terms, the User waives the right to file a lawsuit in any other jurisdiction.

Before filing a legal action for any dispute arising in the course of using the Service, the User shall request the Company to resolve the dispute in writing, together with any objections, and may only file a lawsuit after the Company's handling of the dispute. In addition, if the lawsuit filed by the User is dismissed by the court or a judgment is rendered in favor of the Company, the User may bear the legal fees incurred by the Company.
  4. The Company shall not be liable for any damages caused by the User unless there is intentional or gross negligence on the part of the Company, and shall be indemnified for all indirect damages arising from legal proceedings and lawsuits under this Article.
